Originally from Botany and Maroubra in New South Wales, Brent has been passionate about boating since childhood. His hands-on experience in various sales roles has allowed him to build strong client relationships and deliver personalized service. Whether you’re buying a new yacht or selling your current boat, Brent’s expertise ensures a smooth and successful experience.

His move to Queensland highlights his commitment to the marine sector and his desire to better serve our clients. His strategic approach and in-depth market knowledge will enhance our ability to connect buyers with the right boats and help sellers achieve their goals.

We are excited to welcome Carly to the R Marine Crawley team as our new Client Experience Engineer.

Carly brings a wealth of experience from her extensive background in marina management, office administration, and client relations, making her an excellent fit for her role with us. Carly will also play a key role in the planning and coordination of our renowned RMC Events and Experiences, ensuring every detail is perfectly executed to enhance the on-water adventures of our Riviera owners.

With over 15 years in the real estate and marina industries, she has honed her skills in managing marina berthing schedules, handling accounts and invoicing, and coordinating various administrative tasks. Carly’s previous roles demonstrate her expertise in managing marina operations and client interactions—key aspects of her new position at R Marine Crawley.

Her experience in office management and other roles has equipped her with the organisational and multitasking abilities necessary for overseeing our brokerage stock berthing arrangements and managing the service department’s logistics. Additionally, Carly’s background in insurance quotations and client support aligns perfectly with her responsibilities for boating insurance at R Marine Crawley.

With over 32 years in the marine industry, Steve brings an unparalleled wealth of expertise in marine electrical systems. Having spent the past 12 years closely involved with Riviera, both as a contractor and consultant, Steve has intimate knowledge of their advanced electrical systems.

His experience spans commercial and recreational vessels, vessel surveying, and survey requirements, making him an invaluable addition to the team.

Known for his energetic and approachable nature, Steve is a master in diagnosing, fault-finding, and optimising systems, with specialised skills in CZone, Mastervolt, and complex marine networks.

Taj Smith

It is our pleasure to welcome Taj Smith to R Marine Crawley as our newest team member. As a junior general hand, Taj will play a vital support role, assisting our brokers and sales staff to ensure smooth operations and the highest level of service for our clients.

Taj’s passion for boating and hands-on experience in buying, selling, and repairing boats make him uniquely suited to understand and support the needs of our sales team. His enthusiasm for the water and commitment to hard work reflect the very spirit of our industry.

Taj’s background, from his work as a jet ski tour guide to his volunteering and academic pursuits, shows a young professional eager to learn, contribute, and grow. We are excited to see Taj thrive as a valuable member of the R Marine Crawley family, and we look forward to the many ways he will support and enhance our team’s success.
