Our first nights destination was Yamba where we were greeted by the fantastic team at the marina before making our way to Tom’s Chinese for a delicious banquet dinner.
Fully rested we head off on day 2 & made our way up the mighty Clarence River. A slow cruise allowing us to relax & unwind as we took in our beautiful surroundings.
Making our way under bridges and past car ferries we were definitely a sight to see as we meandered our way to Grafton where we dropped anchor in prime position to take in the festivities.
For the afternoon we lazed by the river & enjoyed a catered picnic in the park, followed by a quiet evening on the Riviera’s which was topped off with a fireworks display.
Breakfast at Taste Espresso followed by a free day & night to take in the festival, the markets, the classic car show & a river cruise in our super brig for those who felt adventurous. We have to mention the glorious colour of the Jacaranda’s that line the streets.
With a cheeky cabaret, a breakfast at the picturesque Ulmarra Hotel and a cruise back in to Yamba our trip was definitely set at a relaxing pace and graced with some fantastic weather.
