RMC members met at our offices at Runaway Bay for the second training instalment of the year.
Riviera owners could register their interest and join in even if they felt they had a good handle on the workings of their onboard generator.
The basics were covered in another series of video tutorials, such as cleaning the sea strainer and operating the sea cock.
One of the lead mechanics, Del Doree from RMC Service Centre, and Travis Cross, R Marine Crawley Warranty manager, filmed the videos. Del made himself available on the night to answer any client questions.
Other tutorials filmed and screened on the night were ‘identifying and understanding fault codes, simple generator troubleshooting, visual checks – simple generator best practices and how to use the vessel’s power auto-connect.
