On Wednesday, 22 July, nine Riviera owners and their crews departed the Gold Coast to begin the 2026 RMC Whitsundays Experience—a week-long journey through some of Australia’s East Coast’s most breathtaking cruising grounds. With calm seas and light winds setting the scene, the fleet cruised into Moreton Bay before dropping anchor at Tangalooma, where the first evening was spent exactly as it should be: barefoot on the beach, drink in hand, watching the sun disappear over the horizon
RMC Whitsundays Experience Underway
It was more than just the start of a voyage. It was the beginning of another shared experience built around the friendships, stories and unforgettable moments that have become synonymous with every RMC adventure.
Over the coming days, the fleet will continue north, tracing Queensland’s coastline with planned stops at K’gari, Pancake Creek, Keppel Bay, the Percy Islands and the world-famous Whitsundays. Every destination offers something different—quiet anchorages, calm waters, waterfront dining and countless opportunities to explore by tender, paddleboard or simply from the comfort of the aft deck.

Of course, no two cruising adventures are ever the same. The itinerary will adapt to the conditions as the journey unfolds, allowing the fleet to make the most of the weather while discovering hidden bays, enjoying long lunches ashore and making the spontaneous detours that often become the highlights of the trip.
Whether it’s gathering for sunset drinks after a day’s cruising, sharing dinner overlooking the marina, or swapping stories beneath a sky full of stars, it’s these moments between destinations that make the RMC Experience so memorable. The boats may travel together, but it’s the camaraderie that truly brings the journey to life.
