Sanctuary Cove 2026: Continuing the Riviera Journey Beyond the Show
Still thinking about the Riviera you stepped aboard during Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show 2026? For many visitors, the show was just the beginning of the journey — and while the marina may have packed down for another year, the opportunity to explore the Riviera lifestyle certainly hasn’t.
The R Marine Crawley team remains here to assist well beyond the show, whether you’re revisiting a favourite model, considering your very first Riviera, or planning the next step in your boating journey. From private walkthroughs and model discussions through to helping you better understand Riviera ownership, we’re always available to continue the conversation and help you experience the Riviera world of boating with confidence and clarity.
Throughout SCIBS 2026, we also saw a strong sense of pride from Queensland buyers supporting a Queensland-built brand. Knowing these yachts are handcrafted locally on the Gold Coast created an even deeper connection for many visitors stepping aboard during the show, reinforcing Riviera’s position as one of Australia’s great luxury manufacturing success stories.
Riviera Festival of Boating & Owner Experiences
This year’s Riviera Family Festival of Boating once again proved to be one of the standout features of SCIBS, with Riviera owners enjoying three days of exclusive education, technical masterclasses and practical on-water learning hosted within the H Arm showcase.
From coastal seamanship and care & maintenance sessions through to navigation systems, power management, Volvo Penta IPS familiarisation and the ever-popular Ladies’ Skippers’ Course, the program reflected Riviera’s continued commitment to building owner confidence and enjoyment on the water.
SCIBS 2026 also introduced Riviera Australia’s vibrant new Riviera Yacht Club venue, which hosted a beautifully received Ladies Lunch during the show. The new location, exceptional food and welcoming atmosphere made it a standout social event within the Riviera calendar.
We were also delighted to host our Cocktails and Dreams evening aboard the Riviera display — a relaxed and highly enjoyable evening bringing together clients, owners and friends of R Marine Crawley overlooking the stunning showcase.
World Premiere: Riviera 6200 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition
One of the defining moments of SCIBS 2026 was the global debut of the Riviera 6200 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition.
The 6200 attracted significant attention across the show, delivering a remarkable combination of volume, luxury and capability thanks to Riviera’s new-generation hull design. From the expansive all-seasons aft deck and alfresco entertaining spaces through to the beautifully appointed accommodation and performance-driven Volvo Penta IPS package, the yacht was a standout for many visitors stepping aboard.
For the R Marine Crawley team, it was exciting to introduce Queensland buyers to a model that genuinely redefines what’s possible in this size category.
Australian Premiere: Riviera 5600 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition
Alongside the 6200, the Riviera 5600 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition also made its Australian boat show debut and quickly became one of the busiest yachts on display.
The balance of luxury, usability and entertaining space resonated strongly with owners looking to move into a highly capable motor yacht that still feels effortless to enjoy with family and friends. Throughout the show, our team spent considerable time walking clients through the layout, technology and practical features that make the 5600 Platinum such an appealing next step in Riviera ownership.
Technology, Electronics & Industry Partnerships at SCIBS 2026
Another strong highlight during Sanctuary Cove 2026 was the presence of leading marine technology brands SEA.AI, Garmin and Raymarine, showcasing the latest advancements in marine electronics, navigation, safety and onboard technology integration within the wider Riviera display experience.
Craig from RMC Electronics worked closely with visitors and Riviera owners exploring the latest advancements in marine electronics, navigation, safety and onboard technology integration. From intelligent thermal awareness systems and AI-powered object recognition through SEA.AI, through to the latest Garmin multifunction displays and Raymarine navigation solutions, the conversations reflected just how rapidly modern boating technology continues to evolve.
For many Riviera owners and prospective buyers, understanding how these systems integrate into real-world cruising and offshore boating environments added another valuable layer to the SCIBS experience. Whether discussing navigation confidence, situational awareness, radar integration or long-range cruising capability, the collaboration between RMC Electronics and these globally recognised marine technology brands helped showcase the importance of innovation within today’s luxury boating lifestyle.
To the Riviera factory team, our fellow exhibitors, and every client, owner and guest who spent time with us throughout SCIBS 2026 — thank you for being part of such a memorable event.
We’re proud to continue sharing the Riviera lifestyle with boating enthusiasts across Queensland and beyond, and we look forward to welcoming many more owners into the Riviera family in the years ahead.
