There’s something truly special about a boat handover. It’s not just about delivering a luxury motor yacht — it’s about welcoming new owners into a lifestyle, a community, and a shared passion for life on the water.

We’re proud to welcome the new owners of the Riviera 465 SUV “Monkey Sea”, marking the beginning of their journey into the world of Riviera yachts and the luxury boating lifestyle. From the first step onboard to the first engine start, this moment represents more than ownership—it’s the gateway to the Riviera experience.

For Peter and Jan, the journey to Riviera began with a simple goal — creating more opportunities to enjoy life on the water with family and friends.

Originally, we had a smaller boat which we absolutely loved, but it just wasn’t practical for overnighting with friends and family.

Everything changed during an R Marine Crawley Whitsunday Experience, where Peter and Jan stepped aboard a Riviera and spent time with Ben Crawley. Experiencing the Riviera lifestyle firsthand completely shifted their perspective.

Then we spent some time aboard a Riviera and suddenly our plans completely changed. We realised we could have the space, comfort and lifestyle we’d been dreaming about.

Suddenly, they could picture themselves enjoying the extra space, comfort and social atmosphere they had always dreamed about. The layout felt open and connected, the onboard entertaining areas felt effortless, and the experience gave them a real sense of what boating life could become.

After returning home, the decision became easy — it was time to make the move to Riviera.

What stood out throughout Peter and Jan’s journey was Riviera’s outstanding reputation.

What really drew us to Riviera was the reputation. Every person we spoke to had wonderful things to say about the brand, the factory and the people behind it.

Being an Australian-built company was especially important to them, and over the years they had consistently heard how Riviera yachts were known for being exceptionally well-built, thoughtfully designed and practical compared to many others in the industry.

That strong reputation gave Peter and Jan confidence that they were making the right choice for their family’s future boating adventures.

The handover experience at the Riviera factory has honestly been incredible. Everything was communicated so clearly, the process was seamless, and every person we dealt with made us feel genuinely welcomed.

From the moment they arrived, the process was detailed, organised and incredibly professional. Rather than feeling rushed, the experience gave Peter and Jan genuine confidence and peace of mind as new Riviera owners.

Dedicated onboard sessions, sea trial training and one-on-one time aboard allowed them to become fully familiar with the yacht in a relaxed and supportive environment.

It never felt transactional — it felt personal.
